The mission of this event at the Pickleweed Center is to raise consciousness regarding sustainability to the Latino and Indigenous communities in the San Francisco Bay Area. Anank will be one of the distinguished panelists and will be discussing the impact of global warming on the Amazonian Rainforest and the communities he represents.

Living in the Amazon Rainforest your life may be in danger at any given moment and yet the Shuar are always happy and completely relaxed. How do they do it? Anank Nunink Nunkai will share the wisdom of his ancestors and how he continues to learn from them every day. You will learn how to apply this knowledge towards increased happiness and reduced stress. We will conclude this event with a guided meditation. One of a kind handmade Shuar jewelry will also be available for purchase.

Americans visit Shuar villages in the Amazon Rainforest, Ecuador
A group of Americans traveled to the Ecuadorian Amazon and shared in the ancient knowledge of the Shuar. They visited exotic places that most tourists would never see. For the Shuar, their jungle home is a paradise where they live among the sacred places of their ancestors.
